Postnatal Fitness Sessions

Our postnatal training sessions focus on rehabilitating your core, pelvic floor activation and establishing good breathing patterns.

We use a range of free weight and bodyweight exercises to help you build whole body strength, and improve cardiovascular fitness, agility and flexibility.

Classes are fun, friendly and suitable for all levels of fitness, although you must have had your 6 week postnatal check and been given the all clear to exercise.

Staverton Court Room

Classes will usually be held at the court room in Staverton. If the weather is reliably good enough for us to hold the session outdoors, we may instead meet on the sports field at Meadowbrook, Dartington. If this is the case, all group members will be contacted prior to the session to ensure that they are happy with the change of location.

Babies and young children are very welcome.* There is no childcare provision included as part of the session, however you can dip in and out of the class as needed to ensure that your child is happy throughout. I will provide a blanket and a few toys; please feel free to bring along any extra toys to help keep them entertained during the session!
