Pregnancy Strength training
One of the primary benefits of strength training throughout pregnancy is that it can help to improve overall muscle tone and strength. This can be especially important as pregnancy progresses and your growing baby puts additional strain on your body - stronger muscles can help to support the extra weight and reduce the risk of injury or discomfort.
Strength training can also help to improve posture and balance, which can be affected by the changes in weight and alignment that occur during pregnancy.
For more information about the physical and mental benefits of strength training please see my blog post, Strength Training Through Pregnancy.
Roam Wild Pregnancy Strength Training classes will be starting in January 2023, and will focus on building physical strength during the lead up to your birth. If you are in your first trimester of pregnancy and would like to join this group, please register your interest here.
Classes will be held on Thursday afternoons (12:30 - 1:30pm) in the Staverton Court Room initially, with a view to moving outdoors as soon as the weather improves in Spring
